Hi,

since there is still a bug in this extension: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/8709

Can I change the sort manually in the phpmyadmin?

I have again checked your issue with the developer and got the instruction. Unfortunately, we have some dependencies here and so it will not be updated reagarding your issue. You are advised to at least use the recommended ratio for the Thumbnail Image

Please go to this location: administrator/components/com_spsimpleportfolio/views/items/tmpl and replace default.php file with the attached file. You need to unzip the file and then replace.

default.php.zip

This will fix the issue.

Hello, very cool, thank you and sorry for being so impatient. I only have one small problem: I show the portfolio items in 4 columns. In one situation I need to show 5 items: first row: img -img-img-img second line: Empty, empty, empty, img So the 5 image is not shown in line 2 column 1, but in line 2 column 4! enclosed again the screenshot: https://prntscr.com/205xt3x thank you so much - you have made my weekend klaus

Sorry, I could not fix the issue yet. But I have found a clue. If I add another item in installation tags(total items 6), then it shows good. But for 5 items, this issue happens. Please allow me some time. After the weekend, I will check your issue with the developer.

hi, ok.. the issue still exist. somehow the sequence is wrong:-( For ur info: I on the cache, clint want to see the speed of the website as the images are big and I use System - DJ-WebP plugin ( for automatic WebP images)

Thanks for your time. Please go to this location: components/com_spsimpleportfolio/models/items.php and on line 251 change $query->order(‘id ASC’); to $query->order(‘title ASC’); Hopefully, it will solve your issue.

I have taked with the developers. It seems like any third-party plugin is conflicting. We will check the products further and fix in the next update. Meanwhile, you can try CSS hack to fix the view.

hi, which CSS hack? We have this issue is now 3 weeks + - It is very difficult for me to explain to my client. And she pay my work only when everything is fixed...:-(So please try to fix that as soon as possible, thanks.

Hello, is this a minimum or a maximum? Exactly this size may not be possible for all images. The aspect ratio is different for some works and I can't/shouldn't 'cut off' anything! Thanks Klaus

It is not easy if you just tell me you need more time... I undertstand, but what is more time? 1 week, 1 month, ...?

If you cannot solve the problem in a short time, I need to change the Framework:-(

My sincere apology for the delays and inconvenience that you are facing. I have shared the way the extension behaves. I agree with your point that the extension needs an improvement. Also, I have communicated the Developer team about this. They will review it on the next update. But honestly, it will be delayed since team is very busy with other sheduled works. Maybe you can check on Joomla Extension Directory for any third-party solution. It is the extension that is having issue in your case. Template framework is not responsible here.

I have checked the other post. It is handled by our senior staff. He will assist you better.

Hi, Good that you can also reproduce the bug.

Using a third party extension is not a solution for me. I don't want to install other extensions from other developers, because then there are usually other problems. That's why I always use everything from one developer. Please ask your developers when (plus / minus one week) the bug can be fixed. Maybe just a hotfix .... I have 'deadlines'! Thanks Klaus
