Pagebuilder wont save pages

Hi
Pagebuilder wont save pages and get spinning circle. Haven't installed any new software for over a year and has minimal software installed.

have dont Update Sites / Rebuild
Cleared all caches
replaced Administrator/components/com_joomlaupdate with folders for latest joomla update file
have tried new .htaccess file using default info from joomla website
all plugins updated

PHP 7.4.26 (have tried all the way down to 5)
Joomla! 3.10.3
SP Page Builder Pro Version: 3.8.1
shaper_helix3 - 2.5.8

i found a wierd solution from someone to set $live_site to an empty value in the configuration.php and instantly it worked...
