If you are editing on the frontend, Can you try editing on the backend please and see if that works. If you are already working in the backend, I'd recommend checking your console to see if that causes any issues.

If you are using a 3rd party plugin, it may have an effect. And I don't know if you are working locally or with the server. It can also be caused by Server Requirements.

Hello there

When the Compress Javascript Files feature is active, there is no saving process on the other end. Turning the feature off fixes the problem.

The default is off. I think you opened it before. Or if it differs in custom templates, I don't know.
