Frontend Table Editing Not Possible (does Not Save)

Hi,

I have a customer who logs in from the backend. Then he goes to SP Page Builder > Pages and clicks on the 'Frontend editor' button. So he can edit his page on the frontend.

One of its pages uses a table (Table addon). At the frontend, he can edit his table. Also save. But when he then closes the editor, the changes to his table are not saved. Other addons such as Title and Text block are saved and are also visible after closing the editor. I have now edited and saved the table from the backend. These changes are saved and visible. So it's just that the table addon can't be changed from the frontend.

Specs: Joomla 4.1.5, SP Page Builder Pro Version: 3.8.8. PHP version 8.0.21.

Client uses PC, i use Mac. Same issue.

Hi,

Partly. I now know it's partly to do with JCE Editor. So I have changed the default text editor to TinyMCE. In this way it is possible to edit and save the table at the frontend via the editor in the sidebar. But if I change the table in the frontend website itself, so not in the sidebar, it will not be saved. That's a shame, because the customer just clicks on the text he wants to change, but then it is not saved, only if he uses the editor in the sidebar, while that is not easy for a inexperienced user. Certainly not easy with the table addon.

Long story short: it partly has to do with the editor, but certainly also with the table addon. Because it also doesn't work as it should with the TinyMCE editor.
