Howdy! What's interesting in life? Not sure? I’ll tell you what’s interesting here. We have updated 4 of our Joomla templates and that’s pretty exciting to us. You’ll feel excited too once you update those templates. I promise you, you’ll be stunned with the enhancements. Our developers have made sure of that.
Today's update batch includes:
Eventum
You already have the features to manage your event’s speakers, sessions, venues, sponsors, maps, tickets, and this update brings you 2 new home variations (so now you have 6). Plus, 2 new layouts have been added to the Event Schedule addon. Let's see the Eventum (v2.1) template changelog at a glace.
- 2 new home variations
- New layouts in the Event Schedule addon
- Joomla updated to latest version v3.8.10
- SP Page Builder updated to latest version v3.2.4
- Template updated with the latest Helix 3 Framework
- Minor bug countdown fixed
Now we'll explore the most remarkable new stuff of Eventum in this update.
This home variation starts with a stunning hero section that shows a delightful countdown timer. The ticket buying call-to-action is right next to the intro video, which drives the users to buy ticket immediately. Then to represent the details of the event, the event schedule section comes. This section is followed by speakers list, ticket pricing, and sponsor list. Check the screenshot below.

This Eventum home variation sports a conspicuous hero section having a left-aligned countdown timer followed by a ticket selling area, event schedules, ticket pricing, maps and other featured elements. The sponsor list is right above the map to make it more visible to the visitors’ eye. This home variation has a newsletter section as a plus. Here is a screenshot.

Updated Event Schedule addon
The Event Schedule addon for Eventum has got 2 more layouts: Horizontal and Vertical. So now you have 4 layouts in total. Let’s have a look at the new ones.
Here's a screenshot of the horizontal list layout.
To provide you with as much flexibility as you want, here is the vertical list layout (check the below screenshot).
Rhino
First thing first, let's have a quick look at the changelog of Rhino (v1.4):
- New Header variation
- SP Page Builder updated to latest version (v3.2.4)
- Joomla updated to latest version (v3.8.10)
- Template updated with the latest Helix 3 Framework
- Minor bug with responsiveness fixed
Up until now, Rhino had 6 home variations with a transparent header design appeared at the first impression. Today’s update brings a new solid header from the very beginning. However, you’ll still get the same old solid header design when scrolling down.
To get the solid header design from the beginning, go to your Joomla backend > Menus. Open the Page Display tab in the editing mode, and put 'solid-header' inside the Page Class field. Save changes, and it's done!
These were the biggest news regarding today’s update. Now let’s see the changelogs for the 2 other templates we’ve updated in this batch.

We know, customer is the king and you know we value your opinion. So, tell us in the comment section which template you would like to have updated in our next batch. We’d definitely try to do that unless you know like it's “bringing-back-the-dinosaurs” difficult :D Thank you for being with JoomShaper :)
N.B. It's advised to take a full website backup before updating any template.
Joomla Template Library
However, "Template updated with the latest Helix Framework" is kinda misleading. They're all still on the Helix3 or 2 Framework but only the latest updates of that version of the framework.
Is the Bugfix in Helix now ready, was a Problem when you like work in Menus!?
Migration to Helix Ultimate is not planned yet for those 4 templates.
