Helix 3 framework has been thoroughly updated to align with Joomla 6 and the latest PHP 8.5 so there are no loose ends to worry about. Plus, SP Page Builder 6 compatibility is also baked in, meaning you get the full power of our latest page builder on your Helix 3 site without any friction.

Before You Update

A few things to keep in mind before hitting that update button:

• Back up your site first: Always take a full backup for the files and database, before updating any template or framework.
• Check your PHP version: Joomla 6 requires PHP 8.3 or above. Make sure your hosting environment meets this requirement.
• Disable the Behaviour - Backward Compatibility plugin: Joomla 6 requires this plugin to be unpublished for templates to function correctly. Go to System > Plugins, search for Behaviour - Backward Compatibility, and disable it.

And once you have updated:

• Clear your cache: Make sure to clear the cache from both ends, Joomla site cache as well as your browser cache.

And you should be good to go!
