After the update to Joomla 5.0.1 the language file for Helix Ultimate stopped working, just codes are showing up.

I also tried with a clean Joomla 5.0.1 installation and latest Helix Ultimate 2.0.17 and still the same issue.
Guys, Joomla Team made that surpice in last update this time ;/

Unzip, and using FTP upload files to /language/en-GB (override if needed)
Hi Paul, the files need to be named by the template name. In my case I use Investa template and after renaming to "en-GB.tpl_investa.ini" and "tpl_investa.ini" it works. Thanks

Yes, I tried to rename the language file like the one for Cassiopea, but it still does not work and I don't have time for debugging, I hope a fix for this is released soon.

Switching the backend language to English doesn't help.
I uploaded a better (almost final) version of lang files, just download again.

The HELIX_LANG_UNZIP.zip solution works. Any chance of amending the current helixultimate_template_v2.0.17.zip file?
I get fed up with all the override warnings so i always reinstall the latest helixultimate_template_v2.0.17.zip whenever I update Joomla to a new version.

NEVER, undate Joomla or Joomshaper products for a week or two after their release.
For sure, read the Joomshaper forums BEFORE making any such update.
Don't update prior to a weekend.
You should all know this by now.
Remember Jooomshaper often releases products without testing.
Xlym, that is very good advice. This is the first time that a Joomla update made it crash. But you're right. Take some time to let it be fully tested before you update. I really hope that 'Jooomshaper often releases products without testing.' Not sure how they could do that. Thankfully the community is very knowledgeable.
