Moneris easystore 1.3.3 payment gateway: Order confirmation email sent to admin with error on payment status

I would like to clarify that the problem concerns the email sent to the store administrator and titled: Customer Order Confirmation.
The emails sent to customers are now ok after the update to easystore 1.3.4

Same issue here. Customer placed a test order and got to paypal's payment prompt and then exited WITHOUT PAYING at PayPal and the customer received this email:

Dear Customer,

We've received your order and are confirming your recent purchase with us! Your order details are as follows:

Order ID: 1705
Order Date: 2024-10-26 15:42:03

Why are confirmation emails getting sent without payment verification from PayPal?

Please turn on the IPN Instant Payment Notification Feature on as an option in your paypal plugin and not just an email address. This has been requested numerous times and is required in J2Store and Prestashop.

@David Collado - it's not a complete fix, but you can mitigate this issue by changing the contents of the "Order Placement Confirmation" email in EasyStore.

I have mine set as the following:

Subject: Your {store_name} order has been received (Order #{order_id})

Email:
Dear {customer_name},

We have received your order on {order_date}. If you have not yet done so, please ensure you complete payment of the order, using the Pay Now button visible within the order page.

Your order details are as follows:

Order ID: {order_id}
Order Date: {order_date}

Any fix?

Any fix on this? How can i make the administrator recieve the payment success mail? I am recieving only the order confirmation with "not paid" but not recieving the second mail with status "paid". It will be better to recieve the order confirmation mail only once the payment is done successfully with the payment status marked paid!!

Ok. once i disable the new order notification for admin am i recieving any notification on order and payment status?

It is quite annoying that i have bought the template few weeks ago thought everything with easystore was working fine. Now i have to buy Easystore for updates and make it work?
