Hello, I have created products, payment options, shipping options, etc. Now when I want to complete the process and go to checkout, I don't see a "go to checkout" button or anything similar anywhere. What could be the reason for this??

I have checked your site, and I can confirm that it is working fine. Initially, the checkout page shows nothing until a product is added to the cart. Without adding a product to the cart, you will not see any details about your products on the checkout page. However, you can add a layout to the checkout page by overriding it, but this may not be necessary.
Also, I don’t think it’s required to add a separate menu for the checkout in menu.

Unfortunately it's not working as hoped.
I went through the following steps but unfortunately never got to the point where I can pay.
1 proceed to payment
2 order is placed successfully
3 continue shopping
4 add to cart
5 visit cart
6 proceed to checkout
7 proceed to payment
9 continue shopping1
but unfortunately I never got to the point where I can pay :-(
