Hello,
I use the Onepage template in combination with SP Page Builder Pro.
When I make a choice in the offcanvas menu, the menu remains open. It should fold away to the right but it doesn't. The menu works fine but I have to close offcanvas by clicking X.
What can/should I do to fix this?
Thanks in advance for the support.
Greetings,

Joomla! v5.4.1
PHP v8.2.28
SP Page Builder v6.2.2
Onepage v4.0.1
To implement this, I have add a small script in this path: /templates/shaper_onepage/js/custom.js
Code:
jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
const $offcanvasMenu = $(".offcanvas-menu .mod-menu"); // match your actual menu class
if (!$offcanvasMenu.length) {
return; // Off-canvas menu not found, exit
}
$offcanvasMenu.onePageNav({
currentClass: "active",
changeHash: false,
scrollSpeed: 400,
scrollThreshold: 0.5,
filter: ":not(.no-scroll)",
begin: function () {
if ($(".offcanvas-init").hasClass("offcanvas-active")) {
$(".close-offcanvas").trigger("click"); // Close off-canvas menu
}
}
});
});Please, check now.
Thanks
Yes, this works fine. Thanks for your support.
I assume this change will also be incorporated into the original template so that future users can benefit from it as well.

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.
Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!
Best regards,
Hello Ziaul Kabir,
The website is currently in offline mode, please do not change this.
Login info in the hidden content.
I would like to hear from you if you were able to solve the issue and what the problem was.
Greetings D56 WebDesign
Your site’s current behavior looks correct from my end.
This is because your menu system is based on section IDs within the same page. When a menu item is clicked, the page scrolls to the section instead of loading a new page, so the off-canvas menu does not automatically close. It will only close when the close (X) icon is clicked.
If you want the off-canvas menu to close automatically when clicking a menu item that links to a section on the same page, you will need to customize the current behavior using custom JavaScript.
Thank you.
Hello,
I find that strange. I have another website based on the JoomShaper Oneclip template, and I also use section IDs there, and it works correctly.
The only difference is that this template is based on the Helix3 framework.
I can imagine that JavaScript (by JoomShaper) is also used here.
Why do I have to use JavaScript myself in the Onepage template?
I have added my public IP address.
