Helix 2.2.7 Problems

Asked by Andreas Becker 3 months ago Last activity 3 months ago

Many Problems...

Before </head>

Before </body>

I had something entered there. After the update, both fields are completely empty.

If I fill them in, save them and reload the page completely, the fields are empty again. Consequently, some things on my website no longer work.

There also seem to be problems with the colours. The background colour is simply white, instead of the colour I specified in Helix. The text colours are no longer correct either.

I’ll unfortunately have to restore the backup with the old version

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us, and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this issue has caused.

I have fully documented the details regarding the Helix 2.2.7 update—specifically the loss of custom scripts in the </head> and <body>sections, as well as the template color resetting issues—and have escalated this directly to our development team for an immediate review.

In the meantime, we highly recommend restoring your website from a recent backup to return to the previous stable version while our team works on a fix.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we resolve this.

-Regards.

Robert

That's a knows bug.. switch and save the SCSS button a few times and then clean browser cache. That's why I use custom CSS for the colors in a custom css file. That remains untouched. Often menu and background colors go back to default settings after a Helix update.

I've tried that several times, but without success.

In some cases, after updating the Helix Ultimate framework or template, the compiled CSS may need to be regenerated. Recompiling the SCSS by toggling Advanced → SCSS → Compile SCSS to CSS, or simply saving the template settings, usually resolves the issue.

And thanks Robert, We appreciate you sharing your experience; it may be helpful for other users who encounter the same behavior.
