Before you go ahead with the update, please check the template's changelog on the product page. It is highly recommended to back up both your files and database regularly, and especially before making some serious upgrades. We recommend that you use Akeeba Backup, a trusted backup component for Joomla. This extension is available in two editions, Core (fully functional version, free of charge) and Professional.

You can manually reinstall any template using a new package. Go to System > Install > Extensions and upload the .zip file of the template, or follow any of the other installation procedures based on your preference.

Alternatively, go to System > Manage > Extensions and click on Check For Updates.
