Error Accessing Template After Upgrading J3 To J4 - Class "JApplication" Not Found

I just upgraded Joomla 3 to 4 and then installed Helix 2.0.5 and SP Page Builder Pro 3.8.2. All seemed to go well. I set the home page template to be helix ultimate and when I try to view the template I receive this error- Class "JApplication" not found. I do not know if it is a Helix or Page Builder issue. Thx.

Please downgrade your PHP version 8 to 7.4

Yes those are the docs I followed when migrating form 3 to 4 and resulted in a JApplication error.
