Frontend Editor Not Working

Hi there,

  1. joomla 3.10.4
  2. SPPage builder Pro 3.8.3
  3. PHP 7.4
  4. joomla cache deleted
  5. browser cache deleted
  6. admin user set with "no editor"

When I try to edit my home page via Frontend Editor, I can see only the header and the footer. The left sidebar is not shown anche the page is totally empty.

Hello Ariba, thanks for the support.

Ok, I found the issue: it's about JCE editor. I have installed the latest version 2.9.18 but if I want to use SP Page Builder I have to disable all plugins, package and component of JCE.

When JCE is totally disabled, then yes: I can work with SPPB.

But I cannot have this website without JCE, because users editors they have to use JCE, they use JCE since Joomla 2.5.

My apologies, you need to contact the JCE Editor support regarding that.

Hello Ariba,

thanks for the link. My issue is differetn because I get the error on the SPPB Pages. Not in the Joomla articles.

Anyway, if I disable JCE the Frontend editor starts to work fine, but then I get some issues.

UPDATE: maybe I fixed the issue.

in tha ADVANCED options of Helix Ultimate I disabled all compression options and the Lazy Loading system. I also turned on the Font Awesome loading.

Right now it seems it works fine.
