Helix Ultimate - Compression - Have You Optimize Yet

If you go to the "Advanced" tab in Helix Ultimate tempate there are two settings with the following notes indicating that it is recommended that the settings be "disabled":

  • Compress CSS Files: Enable this option to compress and combine all CSS files to increase website performance by reducing loading time. Note: We suggest you to disable this option. We are working on this settings for further optimization.

  • Compress JavaScript Files: Enable this option to compress and combine all Javascript files to increase website performance by reducing loading time. Note: We suggest you to disable this option. We are working on this settings for further optimization.

Will this be corrected in the upcoming Helix Ultimate release. If no, what is the status of the optimization?

Sorry for this inconvenience. It is still not optimized. But I will note it down and give our DEV team a high priority so that they can solve it ASAP

Hi,

As you may noticed that new Helix wasn't yet published we all wait for update. But for Joomla there are at least 3 good code compression extensions that you can use instead of Template Options.
