Mega Menu Drop Down Item Style

Right now the drop down menu items on a mega menu have square boxes in front of the items.
I want to remove the box and make the list item style to none.
I can't find during inspect where to change it.
I added this to custom.css
.sp-megamenu-parent .sp-mega-group { list-style: none !important; }
It did not work.
Any ideas?
Something simple should not take 2 hours of research - harumpf.

list-style-type: none;

Your custom.css worked fine - I just wish I knew how to find it.
