Can you explain, please? Where you made those changes? If you are talking about custom css then you need to put them in custom css field or custom.css file of the template.

1. Path towards custom CSS: Extensions>Templates>Styles> Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options. Then find custom CSS within the custom code.
