Preload Animation

I just purchased a template... I also have a template I purchased from a 3rd party from ThemeForest.net. My question is how can I use my own Preload animation and modify the CSS?

About custom CSS in template based on Helix please read:

The general rule is: do not touch template core css files but use your own custom.css file or put CSS inside template options. It means that in some cases you have to override existing CSS styles, in other cases just add own styles where they do not exist.
About using preloader - the main question is if Google loves it or hates it? Because it hides content before full load. Sometimes having even a fancy animation doesn't make sense. Look also from the users' perspectives. There are few ready preloader plugins for Joomla on JED, so adding extra CSS/JS manually not always is needed.
