Clearing The Image Cache

Hi, If you look at this screenshot, these Images don't exist anymore. How would I clear them? I have tried clearing the Joomla Cache but that doesn't help.

To be honest, I am not a big fan of the Image Add-On image selector. The whole 'load more' is just so random, useful if I was just browsing around and checking out images but I'm there to get an image I have alrady chosen therefore I always use the Browse Folders option.

Another minor thought, the labels for the image name in browse folder, would be nice if they wrapped. I tend to use long file names in images to help identify them, I always include the dimension for instance. Lastly, the folder 'control' on the top right, could use a label to direct me there (Select Folder or Selected Folder). Took me ages to realise I could click in the box to get a dropdown to move to another folder as opposed to click Bowse Folders again - another option would be a dropdown arrow. Cheers

Hi, Thanks for a response. The images that are pictured are not in my websites images folder I have emptied it... [some minutes later]

I had a thought to use the cpanel file manager and search for one of those images and found them in /media/com_sppagebuilder/placeholder [sigh]

So my question is, since I am not using any of the images there, can I safetly delete them? I am building my site off a Quickstart Joomla 4 Helix file so have deleted everything I'm not using.

2nd question, do I need to put images in there for them to show up in this screen? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RCY0SlHygD_9KAigYlq-u25QFDORAb6C/view

Thanks

Will you please disable the lazy loader and check again your issue. Then let me know. Is it possible to share a screencast video of the full scenario?

Hi, unfortunately I don't now anything about screencasting and would rather not unless necessary. I had to read up on lazy loading to find out what it was and where the settinsg woud be, lol.

Here is an image of the Lazy Loading setting, I didn't change it, so it was off. However I can't swear it wasn't on at some point and that I turned it off. I just don't remember

Its not something I want, so I can delete those files?

I'm sorry I'm having trouble accessing new users, create but can't login. I haven't paid much attention to user stuff so probably doing something wrong. So can I assume I cannot delete those images in placeholder folder?
