SPPB 4 In Localhost

Has anyone been able to get SPPB 4.03 in a localhost environment? I have tried both WAMP and XAMPP and both seem to have different issues, either with the Media manager or with pages that have been converted from SPPB 3 not rendering correctly and generating PHP errors. Is there a recommended configuration in terms of PHP / Apache / SQL versions? Since there are so many issues with SPPB 4 still I am reluctant to convert live site as yet, so want to test properly on localhost if I can get it to work.

Hi,

Yes I am using it on localhost. I have tried it with MAMP. You can try it also with MAMP. Or could you please give me a screenshot of that issue?

-Regards.

Thanks for your reply. No I can't try it with MAMP as we don't use Apple products, we are PC based. However we are using WAMP which is the PC equivalent. I have attached a couple of screnshots which illustrate a typical page that is broken after changing to SPPB4 - you can see the difference between what the editor page looks like and the rendered preview page. Also the Media Manager issue is mainly that after conversion to SPP4, all the images etc that were in the Media Manager have disappeared. However they are still there within the folder structure of the site. Also if I click on the Folders option in Media Manager it immediately closes the Media page down and returns me to the editor page where nothing is now editable or selectable.

As I explained above, this is a site being developed on localhost hence no URL available. Site was cloned from live site currently using SPPB3 and then updated to SPPB4 in the WAMP environment. I would have thought Pagebuilder should operate in exactly the same way whether it is in a localhost envirenment or on a live site. We use WAMP a lot for development and checking.
