Image Quality In Sp Page Builder

Hello! I kindly ask an information: in my web site created by Sp Page Builder and Helix Ultimate Template I have this problem: I created a "portfolio" page with some photos. I export this photos from Photoshop in srgb format with about 1940px. After I upload this photo in the page both in thumbnail version and in wide version (with lightbox actived) the quality is poor (as a screenshot that I attach).
If I open this images with a any browser ("Open with" from windows) are perfect.
It's my problem or there is a settings in the Sp Builder or Template to solve the problem?

most images are poor quality. I tried to increase the resolution (3000px and up). The picture is better, but it became too big for a website. If there is a trick to solve ok, alternatively keeping the high resolution.

Forgive me for another question, but earlier i discovered a curious thing which might be useful: most of the my work about my website I was connected by a smartphone (tethering). Since yesterday I'm continuing the work with a ultra fast cable connection (much better than smartphone) and the problem is disappeared. The photos in correct resolution (not high) are perfect.
If switch the connection with smartphone the problem returns.
Probably there is an automatic option that fix the quality respect the connection.
It can be a setting that I can change or is an automatic feature?
