Sppb Row Overlay Z-index

Has anyone else come across a situation where sp page builder applies a z-index of an overlay of 1, even when no overlay is specified in sp page builder?

I've tested with page builder 3.8.8 and also 4.0.3 and it appears to be the case in both versions.

I've worked around the bug by applying the following custom CSS:

.sppb-row-overlay { z-index: 0; }

Hello Marcus Anderson

It is applied to the code on purpose. You do not need to change it. If you apply overlay, then it won't show with your Custom CSS.

Best regards

It's supposed to overlay a background image, not all the content inside the row!!

Applying a z-index of 1 for the overlay makes buttons and other interactive parts of the row inaccessible.

Applying a z-index of 0 works just fine.

Please check https://pooltradesgroup.com.au/ for the background sppb-row-overlay z-index set to 0, and if you modify z-index to 1 via devtools, you'll find that the search bar becomes inaccessible.

Please share your administrator access here to check the issue. Use the Hidden Content box to share the credentials. Make sure that you have a full site backup with you before sharing.

Why do you want administrator access to the website?

I have to check your page. I would like to check the page layouts to investigate the issue. You can also export the page and share the JSON file here. You can share it in the hidden content box. ZIP the file and share the link through any drive.

I've zipped the JSON file for you, as requested. Please find a link to the zip file hosted with ufile.io

Thanks for sharing. Please share these two modules in the same process. I will check on my localhost.

I don't see an export option for the modules.

They don't have a z-index if that's what you're wondering.

There must be an option in the modules like this:
