Forms Storing Data To Database?

Feature Request 3 years ago

Hello, If I get it right, data input in forms is only sent by an email. Are you considering adding support for storing it into a database? This would be very usefull feature for us.. Keep up the good work.

Mike.

Czesc Michał,

Yes, indeed - they are send to e-mail only.

By now we do not plan that, so if you need that feature in the upcoming weeks/months I strongly suggest using different form component, you have few to choose from, Convert Forms (free/pro | tassos.gr). So far most users are very happy with it.

Storring e-mails inside the website can be dangerus also if we talk about GDPR law - not recommended.

What about simply adding the option to trigger some custom php code on form submission (with access to the form data of course)... that would allow developpers to do whatever they want with those form data, including adding it to a DB ;-)
