As Pavel said, there is only frontend editing available with full of options those are necessary for your live editing experience. The thought is that, you will get instant effect of what you are changing actually. Here is the documentation on the frontend editor of the SP Page Builder 4:

Hi, thanks a lot for your answers. Unfortunatly, this doesn't solve the problem. I've installled PB4 lite on a test server and the behaviour is as described in your manual.

On my real page, I can access the dashboard ("SP Page Builder - #1 ...") . But can't do anything else. If I choose "new page","Get started", "setting" from the dashboard, I'm directed to the main Homepage. It's the plain homepage as a vistor can see it. There is no chance to do anything (page list, login ...) - there is no SP Page Build Panel with "Pages", "Addons", "Custom Icons" and so on.

Would you please try to disable the CSS & JS compression from Helix Ultimate Template settings? Clear Joomla and browser cache deeply and let me know if it helps!
