However, Category blog menu item edit window should have the pagination show/off option in the 'Blog Layout' tab. Kindly check that. I have shared screenshots for your ease:

My Version of Joomla is 4.2.2

And things look somewhat different.

All blog articles are under News>Read more(weiterlesen).

Thus I got as far as setting the article option shared:

Hi Rashida, thank you for your explanation. Yes the menu news is a SPPagebuilder page. The joomla articles are on that page. I made a blog category page and of course it works fine as you explained.

I thought I could get pagination to work on the article pages.

But not to wory I just leave it as is for the moment :)
