Contact Form, Unneccessary Checkbox

I try to build a contactform. I know your tips for creating web-forms. Everything works fine, except one thing: in the frontend, there´s alway a checkbox with privacy policy. I can not edit or disable the checkbox, nor its possible, to edit the text or the link. I use the newest version of pagebuilder.

Hi Jurgen,

to be honest it doesn't look like from Contact Form addon, by default that addon has only one GDPR checkbox that you have above Sent button.

It can be from your GDPR/Cookie extension or Joomla plugin or addon was overriden inside your template ???

Check it using classic On/Off method:

  1. Disable GDPR/Cookie extension - clear Joomla cache and preview
  2. Disable JS/CSS compression - clear Joomla cache and preview
  3. Switch template to different one - clear Joomla cache and preview

It should help you to find out a reason of that extra checkbox field.
