Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Have you turned on the offline mode in the System > Global configurations, please? Kindly check and if it is on turn it off.

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response. There was weekend issue though.

Is this a super admin access what you have given me, please?

Site won't be accessible who doesn't have admin access when you turn the offline mode on. Are you facing issues with users who has admin login permission to access your backend?

Best Regards

Dear Rashida Rahman

not the backend I am talking about frontend

registerd users cant login to the frontend while the site is in offline mode

Public – Guest – Manager ⋮ – Administrator – Registered ⋮ – Author ⋮ ⋮ – Editor ⋮ ⋮ ⋮ – Publisher – Super Users

Hi

My apology for the delayed response.

Yes, it is the expected behavior. Offline mode made with the purposes that when you need to do some maintanace work, then you can turn the offline mode on, so that your users, visitors can understand the site is under maintanance. So yes, site will not be visible to anyone else, even registered users.

Here you can see offline mode doesn't block access to the Joomla admin area, but it blocks site visiting for all users: https://www.siteground.com/kb/how_to_put_my_joomla_offline

Your URL will only display a login form. Site Administrators can log into the back end of the site: https://www.cloudaccess.net/joomla-knowledgebase/107-joomla-3-1/global-configuration/577-offline-mode-joomla-3-0.html

Best Regards

You can check this blog post too to see how to give access to your different user groups the offline site access:

Hope this is a bit clearer now what I'm trying to say from the begining!
