Strange Characters In Text

Joomla 4.2.5 SPPB v3.8.9

I've noticed that across my website there are strange characters in the text, for example

St Columb's School now appears as St Columb’s School

each person's potential now appears as each person’s potential

If you're not happy now appears as If you’re not happy

These appear on SPPB pages and Joomla articles.

Can someone advise please?
