Error Attempt To Assign Property "link" On Null

SW

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Hello,

When I go to the 'Frontend Editor' in SP pagebuilder Pro, I got the error 'Attempt to assign property "link" on null'. In both versions 3.8.9 and 4.0.7. (I upgraded to 4.0.7 to see if the problem still existed. Unfortunately it was... so I downgraded to 3.8.9 again)

When I click 'Frontend Editor' I have to login again. After loggging in I got this error. Something to do with rights?

Can anyone please help me? Thanks!

After huge investigation download a backup to check your site on my localhost. And it works fine on my localhost. Also, I have search similar issue on Joomla forum and they have replied it's not joomla issue. This issue happens for the Hosting.

Hi Toufiq,

Thank you very much for your time to investigate the error. What PHP version did you have on your local host? Perhaps it's the PHP version which causes the problem... ?

Hi Toufiq,

I think I found the solution! It had something to do with token-based authentication (Joomla 4). So I think a user-rights issue.

https://www.joomdev.com/token-based-authentication/

There was no token set for this user. Now everything works fine.

Thank you for your time and investigation!

Kind regards, Susanne

Could you kindly grant me access to your Joomla administrator area so that I can investigate the issue you're experiencing? Prior to providing access, please ensure that you have backed up your site. Additionally, it's important to note that providing login credentials is entirely voluntary on your part; we respect your decision either way. However, if you do choose to share the login details, it would greatly expedite the resolution process. Thank you for your cooperation.
