Google Font Local Installation

Hello, I have installed the Helixultimate template and would like to install local google fonts (because of the uncertain legal situation here in Europe).

Do you have a tutorial on how I need to do this? I have already downloaded the fonts and saved them in the 'Fonts' directory of Helixultimate.

Thank you, best Michael

Yes, we have general guides here: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/helixultimate/faq-how-to-do

find & read "How to use a custom font(s)" AND "How to use Google Fonts from my server"

Hi Mike,

uncertain legal ....

In EU is defined by the GDPR law, especially in Germany and Austria extra by court cases. I put all info here: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/sp-page-builder-4/google-fonts-and-dsgvo-gdpr

and indeed using Google Font in Germany can cost you over 160 euro, especially if you are a resident.

Your question is not stupid, and indeed improvemnt in that area are planned for SPPB4, but I don't know when.

It's on our list-to-do, I remember becuase I added it personally.

Not yet.

Team is focused to create SPPB 4.0.x back-end editor and fix found issues in SPPB 4.x.

So I guess, topic with local fonts have to wait. And by now only CSS method. Hopefully, if it's one set it works and works.
