Is not possible by using current settings / helix code. Probably you have to find alternative mobile menu module and use it instead of offcanvas menu from Helix. I saw that some users used that method with success. Or source code customization.

BTW If you have only few submenu items - maybe just display all submenu items in open status. More in Helix documenation > How to tips

I think it would be a really important function, because if we have a lot of submenus under a menu item, we must make a page with modules or buttons with submenu urls, or users can't tap the menu item, just the arrow icon... I think it's not difficult code or solution for your developers...

I have the same problem. I agree with Gnostica: The current solution of Helix template is not good.

I also think that many users want this menu function. Many of my customers also have this wish.

But I would like to take this opportunity to commend the development team for their excellent work!

It's our list of wishes. But privately I have no influence on the speed of dev work.
