1 - How can I link images / titles to an external URL? I don't want to go through the 'page details' of each item.

Sorry, right now this feature/functionality is not available.

2 - Videos do not play!! I included a youtube link in the Portfolio item settings, and though the 'play icon' is visible, the video will not play (Don't know if a modal-popup is supposed to be come up there). Thank you.

Please make sure your video source from the youtube or vimeo.

It must be a full URL to video taken from address bar, not from share link.

Can it be bacause of an older js library maybe? I asked before about Themis template not being fully updated to current Joomla, libraries, etc.. Any news on that?

I'm waiting to try out the new version of Builder 4.
