Helix Template Installation

hi! I'm trying out joomshaper's helix for the first time in one of my sites... there's a component that adviced to use helix as template... so I want to give it a try... I installed the template but after clicking the big green button "template options" to customize it, the page is not loaded... instead I got the image I'm attaching... I tried disabling cloudflare but it didn't make any difference... on the other hand, I have installed a quickstart on another domain (same server) that also goes through cloudflare and there is working all right... so, I wonder if I'm missing something to install? a plugin or something? or maybe helix doesn't work with other template frameworks? as joomlart's? so, maybe is there a conflict between T4 plugin (joomlart) and Helix? I also tried disabling T4 plugin but it didn't make any difference....

Screenshot is missing here I guess. You can upload your screenshot to online server, drive or something similar, and share the link here. You can consider any online tool either, such as imgur, lightshot, etc.

I checked the list of technical requirements and everything is all right... besides that, I have an installation with HELIX quickstart "as is", I mean, untouched to have it as reference and guide... and the template manager is working all right there... I guess the thing is when we install the template in an existing site... it seems it needs a file that is not able to find? I can edit the functions included at the sidebar (the one with basic, presets, layout and so on) and the changes are saved... is just the image of the page that is not displayed... instead the white page with the message "Default Layout file is not exists! Please goto to template manager and create a new layout first."
