Home Page Shows Edit Option

Hi there

I have disabled Login in the helix ultimate pro template but when I am logged into the admin control panel and then visit the front end, I still see Edit options in the front end.

Looking at the Joomla Home Dashboard, I am only shown as logged into the Administrator Location (in Last 5 Logged-in Users). No item shows the admin account as logged in in the Site.

This is confusing for my customers who DO NOT expect to see the edit features in the front end when they are not actually logged into the front end.

Can you advise? C

Hi there!

Sorry for your issue.

Actually, edit button is visible to superuser and all users those have edit access of the SP Page Builder.

However, would you please check if you have enabled shared session from the Global configuration of your Joomla admin?

Thank you Rashida

I have checked in Global Configuration and can confirm that Shared Sessions is disabled for this website.

I note when using SPPB on many other sites that when I am logged in as superuser in the backend that the front end does not show any editing options at all.

In all cases, I always use Shaper Helix Ultimate wth SPPB on top but I am only seeing this issue on one particular site at the moment. (using SPPB 3 as it happens).

I have given you an SU login and URL in the hidden content to show you my experience. This is a site that is under development so is not yet live.

Ideally I do not want to see front end editing tools at all when I am logged into the backend.

Thx

Please advise.. I note you have not logged in to see if I can disable this feature. I don't want front end editing enabled when I am logged in to the back end!
