SPPB V5 Issues

Hi support,

Just a bug that I have noticed. I tried this on 2 sites to both which resulted in the same problem. Not on Helix framework though but on normal templates.

I upgraded a site from SPPB v3 to V5, then downgraded back to V3. Then I went to media and tried to upload an image, the image did not upload. The loader just spins and spins..... possible bug.

Cheers

I think you should start it on v5 because if you downgrade and then again update maybe some classes or id's create this issue. On the latest version it works fine.

Hi Mehtaz, your blog post here: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/sp-page-builder-5 mentioned that we can safely downgrade from V5 to V3, so I am unsure why you are telling me not to.

As for the issue, on a fresh helix install still same. See below video where I tried to upload 2 images in media. https://streamable.com/w2m5al

Hi

I am able to upload new images. See my screenshot below:

Could you please check the image format? And also give me your super admin access please. I need to check.

Hi Mehtaz,

I am not sure if we are on the same page, but you have to install V3 then upgrade to V5 then downgrade back to V3. Then the issue will occur. This could be an isolated issue if no one picked it up yet.

V5 works fine out of the box it's only when you downgrade. This is just a localhost setup to provide feedback on v5 issues. Thanks!

No worries, just hinting it out because it could happen where a user from V3 decides to upgrade their prod site to v5 then not like it, downgrades back and get the issue. cheers
