Helix Ultimate Framework Presets Not Working

A tech gave me the CSS to change the background color of the header/footer because the system isn't working even though I paid for Page Builder Pro. Now the menu "hamburger" is black instead of the color I had it and it will not change. The Hover Links colors will not change either. I have a client waiting to see the website and now right before I am to show it, the glitches in Helix or Page Builder Pro have me stopped. Please advise

I have some suggestions for you! Reason can be one of them:
You may try to go in Advanced > SCSS > Compile SCSS to CSS, activate that option again. Once you're done with your colors you can remove it.
So, you might try toggling the custom style setting on/off during change to see if there isn't just an old file that's loading and isn't yet rewritten by the compile function.
You may try enabling compress the CSS and Javascript to get it to work.
Sometimes the main reason for not showing the changes is Adblock software installed on the computer. After disabling the Adblock software the changes are shown immediately.
Clear Joomla and Browser cache(Hard reload) after each of the steps(Most important)

Accepted AnswerThank you. The SCSS instructions did not work. I have disabled Ad Blocker when since I started using Joomla. A tech gave me the CSS code to change the background color and font / link color. Now I need to change the social media icon color to white and hover to red. Presets in Helix are not working still.
