Better Integration Of The Audio Addon

Hi There,

I'm looking for a better integrations of the audio addon.

It is possible to add an audio player, but there does not seem to be any customisation of the audio player possible, which makes it difficult to integrate into the template.

Is this correct, or am I missing something?

For example I only like to display a play/pause button only, and match the colour to my template colours.

Similar to the button shown in the podcast template

Is there a way to do this?

I've tried short codes of external extensions, but this also does not seem to work in SP page builder.

Help would be appreciated.

You can always use:

  1. Raw HTML addon
  2. HTML 5 code ( < audio > element ) to play a single music file

  3. To use ShortCodes- first use Joomla Custom module with Options > Prepare Content: On and plugin shortcode inside - then you can use it using Module addon.
  4. For Joomla there is also module named "Rapi Music Player" (rapicode.com)

I've just tried this, but does not seem to work.

I'm looking to use this extension in SP pagebuilder:

https://extensions.joomla.org/extension/simple-audio-player-shortcode/

I would like to add a play button before or inside text so it's possible for users to listen to the text instead of reading it.

That's why the shortcode would be more flexible. The defealt audio player is to big for this, which is a shame as it would be perfect with an play button only.

In most cases shortcodes worked, maybe plugin developer can create a module.

I have shortcode addon, but .... shortcode_html_unzip.zip

where to upload unzipped folder where-upload.png
