HI, I am trying to use the articles addon. I found a help article that talks abotu layout options but when i try the addon I can;t find any layout options like these: https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/joomla-templates/newskit/article-addon-customization

if you scroll down to select layout, I don't see that? Am I missing something? thanks Breda

Hello Breda

What difference do you see? Please share a screenshot of your issue to understand it better. Take a screenshot and share via any platform. For example: Lightshot or Imgur

Best regards

Hi Ofi, Yes here is a screen shot of the option for Limit on the Article Add on: http://prntscr.com/O1wMZby23mys

Under it I see Colums. But on the help file it says there should be layout options: http://prntscr.com/xg5kQuYkJI-T

Am I using the wrong Add On for this? thanks Breda

Hi Breda,

as you can see, it's documenation for Newskit template only. And default Articles addon that you have in SPPB doesn't have such a features yet. The "select layout" feature was made by addon override for that template.

And that's the whole secret.

Ahh ok Paul thanks, Would it be difficult to use the Newskit template for the News page and leave the rest on another temaplate? It would be great to have that feature on the articles add on as they don't look great. Regards, Breda

In theory it is possible, but in my opinion it is troublesome. Besides, for a browser it's a different template, so it has to load "new" CSS and JS files on "news" subpages. It depends on what skills, time and budget you have for that project. The reason I ask is that it is better to invest in migrating this addon and use it in the current template.

Thansk Paul, you are right. Can I ask what is involved in migrating this addon to the current template? thanks Breda
