Politicas Template Homepage Setting Issue

Hi,
I have installed the Politicas J4 Quickstart template; which has the previously encountered error displayed in the Notifications box; Unknown Extensions - An error has occurred: 0 Missing field in database: Joomla\CMS\Table\Extension extension_id. Upon applying the necessary fix to alleviate this issue, I was able to update the website without encountering any further functional errors beyond the default quickstart install issue.
That being said, I did find an issue while attempting to change the preferred homepage setting. The menu’s default homepage is set to the layout created from SPPB’s Page: HOME. I have attempted to unnest the PERSONAL menu item and then change the default homepage to SPPB’s Page: Home 2. The problem that occurs is that the PERSONAL page layout; SPPB’s Page: Home 2, is inexplicably transposed back to the original HOME page layout; SPPB’s page: Home, upon setting PERSONAL as the default homepage menu item. If I unpublish the original HOME page layout; SPPB’s page: Home, I am then presented with Error: PAGE IS UNPUBLISHED, PLEASE PUBLISH TO PREVIEW instead of the PERSONAL page layout; SPPB’s Page: Home 2. I want the PERSONAL page layout created from SPPB’s Page: Home 2 to be the websites default homepage vice the original HOME page layout; SPPB’s page: Home and then completely unpublished the original homepage layout altogether.

Posted this 2 days ago and still have yet to get answered. No Joomshaper admin has even logged into the site as of yet. Other forum questions posted after this one have been acknowledged/answered but nothing about this issue has yet to be answered.

I changed domain to PHP v8.0 and still no different. This template simply refuses to use anything other than the original HOME page layout; SPPB’s page: Home, as the website's homepage. I've even created a copy of the PERSONAL page layout; SPPB’s Page: Home 2, unpublished the SPPB's original HOME/HOME 2 pages and corresponding menu items, and then created an entirely new default home menu item pointing at the copied PERSONAL page. All to no avail, merely presented with the 404 error for my effort. The site will not come up unless HOME page layout; SPPB’s page: Home is published and so long as it is, the site uses that as the homepage layout, without fail. The only way to view the PERSONAL page layout; SPPB’s Page: Home 2 is during the default install of the website with SPPB’s page: Home set as the default homepage; otherwise, it doesn't seem to exist and cannot be copied/set as the website's homepage. The site refuses to dedicate a different homepage; it is as if the HOME page layout; SPPB’s page: Home is hardbaked somewhere into the template design as the homepage and nothing else matters. No idea what is going on, never had an issue changing a homepage or creating a different one altogether before this.
