I responded that question on forum already, but I will repeat:

1. We prepared SPPB 5.1.5 update for Joomla 5, and now is in testing hands, stable should be publised in next week.
2. During my 2005-2023 Joomla Expirence period, I learned one thing, using version x.0.0 is never a good idea for production website. I played with 3 testing J5 sites already and many popular extensions do not work anymore or display error messages.
3. I understand that modern webmasters wants everything new and instantly, but it's often worth waiting for later versions x.0.3+ to avoid getting axed in one evening. Unless somebody is already bald.
4. Joomla 4.4 will be supported by Joomla Dev Team by next 12 months or even longer. So I don't see a need to upgrade to J5 today or even next week. But each of us will do what we think is right at the time, referring to the proverb "your time - your deal."
