I cannot recommend ro update to Joomla 5 yet, because Helix Ultimate is not ready for Joomly 5 yet. I have run into some issues because I have updated too early (template editor not accessible anymore).

Joomshapersaid they plan to release updated version of SPPB and Helix Ultimate next week.

There are already several entries about this in the forum:

Helix is currently not suitable for Joomla 5. An update will follow. Currently the version 4.4.0 is sufficient. This still offers at least 12 months of updates.

3. If you don't have to - do not use Joomla 5.0.0 for production site, it's too fresh a version full of hidden bugs as usual, besides, too few extensions work properly with it - you'll only get stuck and annoyed, unnecessary problems. No worth it. Wait for Joomla 5.0.3 at least.

Well, I did exactly that as I did not want to start a new page and then having to update it, as soon as I finish. So far it Page builder is not doing too bad. I did run into a problem using the feature box, I do use the default Joomla template.

Big Problems with Page Builder 5.1.6 After installing the new version and Helix Ultimate Framework i cant open a page to edit: The server returned a "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

Same problem.

In a folder on the server, I installed helixultimate_quickstart_j4_v2.0.16 and then updated SP Page Builder free to version 5.1.6.

I stay with joomla 4.4 and then upgraded to php 8.2 and got the same server error message "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong."

I should point out that no extensions or plugins were added.

Nothing serious since it's a "fake" site, but I'm wondering all the same.

In that case stay with J4.4 by now.

On my demo site J5.0 + PHP 8.2 + SPPB + Helix works.

Just installed Helix Ultimate Framework Plug 2.0.17. After this i get error Call to a member function get() on null on all websites. I disabled the plugin, but no changes. All my websites are not not reachable. a nightmare !!!! Please help

1. What Joomla 3.10 or Joomla 4.4 or Joomla 5 you had there?
2. You updated only plugin or template as well?
3. If you think it was a plugin "bug" recover that folder plugins\system\helixultimate from backup.

Delete the plugin. Install older version. Everythin is fine. Phew. Had a slight nervous crisis

you can also install Helix 2.0.17 plugin again, we alrerady fixed buggy code line.

CSS is OK, but was not used by the browser.

Use it For example in: Template Options > Custom Code > Custom CSS

in Custom CSS section that each Page has in Settings.

Are you sure? I see it's working, test on Mobile Emulator as well.

remember that I used value 580px that is for most mobile devices (as you keep phone in hand), but not all. So you can consider using 680px to have wider range of devices. And yes, always check on two mobile browsers.

Little problem with PB modul "Image carousel" My pics for the carousel are 282x180px Dimension (1.57) In Google Page speed insights i go the message "wrong dimension" for all pics. The Showing dimension is 382x180 (2.12) I tried all settings for changing the dimension. Max row width, no.of pisc in a row. Any idea what i must do?
