Yes, this will not be included in the article. The article will only be whatever you have done in SP Page Builder part.

In SPPB 5.1.x you have to add intro text manually. Just paste/put 3-4 sentences there.

@Paul That might work great if you have a few articles to deal with, but if you have a large site with thousands of articles, that get frequently updated this is NOT a very elegant solution.

The auto text generation for com_content basend on the PageBuilder content was a fantastic feature and i cannot understand why it was not migrated to the latest version of pagebuilder - Then again, the entire Article Integration is still very unsatisfying (See: https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/27231)

Would be great if this is added to to feature list and implemented soon - It is a major blocker why we can not update a lot of our sites to J4 or 5....

I confirm what bergwerk wrote and add that if you are in a reality institution where you often have to delegate the creation of content this becomes even more complicated to manage. I really hope that you will consider restoring this feature
