SP Page Builder 1 year ago

Hello, When trying to edit a SP page builder page in the frontend of Joomla 4.4.1 I get a fatal error with out of allocated memory and "Sorry, there was a problem we could not recover from. The server returned a "500 - Whoops, looks like something went wrong.".

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 98193408) (tried to allocate 8590648 bytes) in /home/sites/nac-it.com/public_html/plugins/system/sef/src/Extension/Sef.php on line 116

Page Builder Plus is the latest version 5.2.2 memory_limit increased from 256M to 512M

I've also extended the max_execution_time to 800 My PHP version is 8.1.22

Please can you help suggest what changes I may need to make in order for this to start working again.

Thanks Paul

Hello Paul

Please clear your Joomla cache and Browser's cache and then check. If possible, then check with a different browser.

Hi guys!

I have similar issue with Joomla 5.0.1 and PB 5.2.4. PHP is 8.2. We run several websites under this configuration but only one is causing this issue.

Clearing Joomla cache and using a different browser does not change anything. https://www.lc-adler-bottrop.de/

Help or ideas are appreciated!

Regards Christian

I too have a problem. When using SP, I run out of allocated resources on my server. It seems to be pretty resource heavy.

Hello Ofi,

yes, this issue is appearing on another website and not the one we discuss in another thread. Please let me know if I should share website and credentials for this issue.

Regards Juergen

I would like to point to this issue again. I run several websites at the same hosting provider with the same configuration. Only one cannot be edited with the frontend editor which is quite annoying.

I am using this hosting partner since many years. It's impossible to change the environment and the website was running fine for months after implementation.

There must be another solution than changing the hosting partner. This is not what I would expect from a software that is very known in the market.

Please kindly work on a solution.

Regards Christian
