Just wondering when the new X icon (Formerly Twitter) will be added to helix 3 templates. It's been a few months, and I'm sure clients will start asking about it.

Hi,

hard to say, but you can use trick/method from Helix documantion to add it today >> https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/helix-framework/customization-tips

Hi Paul,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I already tried the trick/method twice - and no icon at all displays, just blank. Also, some of the twitter icons I have used are in the "box" and this dosen't work for that. Is there a CSS file I can upload or something?

I have a lot of sites to update, so I'm hoping this is just taken care of with the template soon.

I guess you are doing something wrong. This is simple one icon replace. Not building a rocket for Elon Musk.

All is there.

If steps 1-6 are too complicated?! ... maybe just replace with "X" text letter.

.fa-twitter::before { content: "X" !important; font-family: Arial, Verdana !important;}

The problem is that the "X" icon is too small. I got your temporary fix to work - but how do I make the icon the same size as the other ones? You can see is here at the bottom of the page: https://kwappraisals.net/test

I tried removing width and height from the code - but that dosen't change anything.

  1. Can you remind me how many years have you been building websites?
  2. Current image has 16 x 16 px, it means that you need bigger one for bottom, 32x32px

I've been building websites for over 23 years, so don't be a jerk to me just because you guys can't give clear instructions. How was I supposed to know that i had to change the size of the SVG file before I downloaded it? And I've paid a membership for almost 7 years to you guys, so I shouldn't have to be doing your job anyway. Maybe you should update your Page Builder and templates in a timely matter - it's been over 5 months since Twitter became X.
