You have used 1 video addon. I do not see any issue on playing the video. It automatically plays. Please describe your issue with more details. If possible, then add a screenshot or screencast to check it.

Hello Ofi, the videos play fine - but what happens is:

• to start with you need to view the site with the audio switched on
• the video in the home page shows and plays audio and video OK
• now go to any page inside - even maybe wait a few seconds before going back to the homepage in order to better see the issue
• now that you are back in the home page, the video starts again with the audio, as is expected and a few seconds later you will also hear the audio of the previous video play - in fact it plays two audio tracks together - hearing all audio in echo What does seem to happen is that once you go out of the home page, the video/audio player does not seem to stop really

Hallo Ofi, I have installed Akeeba and run backup - so I have the backup file (having excluded some big pdf files). Following the tutorial it looks as if I had to do a restore after the backup ??

Please turn on Show Controls or Mute Video options. Then your video will show fine even back from another page. Also, you can add poster image. It will help when video is loading slowly, user will see the poster image.

Hi Ofi, Many thanks this is working correctly on laptop/desktop but on Mobile Android (smartphone as well as tablet): when I turn Show Controls to OFF - it shows the space of the video in blank and it does not play even though I have Autoplay ON and leaving Autoplay ON - each time I go back into the home page the video naturally starts anew playing also the previously started play.

I hope you find a solution for this issue and/or can indicate me a different tool to play the video. Many thanks in advance

Hello Ofi, so I have now tried all sorts and found the condition this issue gets created. Basically I have on the home page 2 separate Video Player Addons : one to show only on laptop and the other wherever except laptop. So I have tried on a test page with just one video player addon - the issue is not coming up. Now I have this request from my client who wants a kind of display layout on laptop and different layout on mobile. Ideally I thought I'd create 2 home pages with the different layouts - but that then compromises the "Burger" of the Offcanvas menu. Would you have a solution for this ?
