MP4 Video Not Playing When Show Control Toggled Off

Hello, I have a video addon with the MP4 player enabled..when I chooe to turn OFF the Controls, it hides the controls on my video..but I cant play the video. I normally can click anywhere on the video and it will play, but not the case with Show Control toggled off.

Ive tried on multiple devices and browsers, nothing works.
Im using SPPB version 3.8.10 in Joomla 3

Accepted AnswerWe have used HTML video tag on the addon. HTML video tag does not work without controls. The video will not play. It is the technology and there is no control in our hand. Hopefully, you will understand this.

Accepted AnswerSorry, it will not work without Show Control options. You have to keep this option on.

Pretty sure that is a bug that should be fixed, no?
Also, Im going to mention this one more time..can you please look into why Im not getting email notifications for forum updates?

Accepted AnswerThe option is here because if you use Show Control -> Off and Autoplay -> On, then the video will autoplay. No control will be shown. This is the use case of this option. If both autoplay and show control are off, then nothing will happen.
