First Level Menu Item With Single Article?

Hello,

a customer wants to assign a single article on a menu item with submenu items on top.
This works fine on desktop but not on off canvas menu because first level this opens the submenu. On mobiles the top menu item shall open the article like on desktop. Is there a way to realize this?

Unfortunately, I could not get the overall idea clearly. Would you please describe it more? Maybe with a screencast about what is missing and you want to achieve in mobile view?

the marked menu item shall open the article assigned to on off canvas menu too, not only on desktop menu. On off canvas it opens the submenu on click but not additional the assigned article.

I think that this will not be possible, or?

Still it's a bit hazy to me:( Sorry about that. But depending on what I get it is not available to achieve I think.
