Sorry this thread was left without a follow-up. In April 2024 we installed the Nexa Rust Slab Black font on your site for you. Could you confirm whether it’s working, and whether you can now upload fonts yourself?

Thanks also to Hans for linking thread #47007. Here is what we know about this error so far:

1. PHP memory_limit set to -1, 0 or empty. With any of these values, SP Page Builder rejects the font upload even when the file is small. Set it to a number such as 512M in your hosting panel, for the PHP version your site actually runs. Hosts often keep separate settings for each PHP version, so check the value your site sees. In Joomla, go to System → System Information → PHP Information and look at memory_limit, post_max_size and upload_max_filesize.

2. Several weights of one font. Since SP Page Builder 6.10.0, put all the weights and styles of one font family into one ZIP and upload that ZIP. Uploading them one at a time gives a “Duplicate entry … for key ‘family_name’” error.

3. PHP 8.5. Some users see this error only on PHP 8.5, even with numeric limits. Our development team is investigating this in #47007. If you’re on PHP 8.5 and points 1 and 2 don’t help, switching to PHP 8.4 works for now.

If the error still happens, please send us:

• your SP Page Builder, Joomla and PHP versions
• the three PHP values above
• from your browser’s Developer Tools → Network tab, the status code and response of the uploadFont request when the upload fails
• any PHP error log entries from that moment

Security note: the admin login you shared in January 2024 may still be active. If you no longer need it, please delete that user or change its password. If you’d like us to check the site again, you can share fresh access in hidden content.
