Doesn't Helix support webp images? If not, any plans to support it?

I have also found that it cannot be used everywhere. SP page builder typically is ok. But in helix template, example in logo place not.

You where do you want to use it?

Usually it's because of browser support, although as far as I know all new browsers support it. Maybe not those running on even older systems.

yes, I thought so :)

The png file is fine, but if I were you, I'd resize it to the exact size you need, because it's huge now.

The mobile version is also much bigger than the size it appears in

Hi

Thanks for contacting us. You can follow this link below:

https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder/how-to-tips#how-can-i-add-support-to-webp-files

If in your Joomla Media - you can upload .webp - it's OK, but it doesn't mean that all extensions support that format. SP Page Builder can, but about others, I cannot promise you. Then use .jpg for them.

If you still cannot use .webp in Joomla > Content > Media (J!Core):

make research on forum.joomla.org And ask Hosting support, maybe there is missing PHP extension for that format We cannot change your Joomla behavior.

Sorry right now I dont have enough information about it. But I will inform our team so that they can apply this format too. If possible use another format for your logo like jpg jpeg png svg.
