Newsberg Error (Somethings Wrong, Try Again) On Any Save Attempt To The Template Changes?

I just installed the Newsberg quickstart package, but now each time I try to save a change in the template settings it gives me the (Somethings wrong, Try again) error. Even something as simple as saving the phone numbers or my logo gives me an error. How can I fix this?

Also how can I stop the site from scrolling left/right on mobile? My client tested it and was unhappy about this.

Hello, thank you for the reply.

The login info is in the hidden section. I get a joomla alert that my php version is 5.XX but it actually is 7.XX. Is it also possible for the site not to scroll left/right on mobile devices? It would be great if you can make that happen.
